I know with every DIY post we say something like “this is our favorite, cheapest, most simple DIY yet!”. But it’s actually true for this one! It’s a gorgeous DIY that’s perfect for Halloween, but it can also be a great decoration for any time of the year! There are only two simple steps to make it, and it costs about $2 to make!
Here’s one of our favorite DIYs we’ve done this season! A skull planter that is so easy, and only costs $1 to make! Plus the cost of your plant, of course. And paint, but we’re just assuming that you have some kind of paint in your house. So just $1! You also don’t have to use this as a planter! You can keep makeup brushes, pens and pencils, or whatever in it!

Here’s another no-carve pumpkin we decorated, and the tutorial on how to make it for yourself! This time we made this super easy no-carve black cat pumpkin, and it turned out adorable!
Pumpkin spice is definitely the most popular Fall flavor, so the grocery stores have pretty much EVERYTHING you could ever want in pumpkin flavor. So we bought all of the pumpkin flavored things that we could find, and then rated them! Now you don’t have to buy ALL of the things, and you can just get the best ones.
Pepperidge Farms Pumpkin Cheesecake Cookies
Ehh… 5 out of 10
I think the pumpkin cheesecake cookies were okay… At first, you get a little bit of pumpkin flavor, and then it’s really sweet. Maybe too sweet for some people, but perfect for people with a sweet tooth. I just think these would be 100% perfect if they had dark chocolate chips instead of white chocolate.
Pepperidge Farms Pumpkin Spice Milano’s
Pretty good! 6/10
These were pretty good! Once again, I think they’d be amazing with more chocolate! The pumpkin spice flavor is a little bit overwhelming, so I think regular Milanos are better.
Pillsbury Grands! Pumpkin Spice Rolls
Amazing! 9/10
These are the best canned cinnamon rolls! The only reason they aren’t getting 10/10 is because my teeth are sensitive to the processed sugar in them, so a lot of the time they give me a toothache! 😣😢
Pumpkin Spice Cheerios
So good! 7/10
These Cheerios are really good! The best cereal ever would be a combination of these and Honey Nut Cheerios!
Voortman Bakery Pumpkin Spice Wafers
In love! 10/10
These have just the right amount of pumpkin flavor, and I love wafer cookies! These with hot chocolate would be the most perfect Fall snack!
Pumpkin Spice Special K
Really good! 8/10
I was upset at first that the flakes aren’t the same as the original Special K, but this cereal is still really good! It’s my favorite of the pumpkin cereals I’ve tried so far.
Pumpkin Spice belVita Breakfast Biscuit
Good 5/10
Why did I say these are good when I rated them a five out of ten? It’s because there’s not really any pumpkin spice flavor. They taste a lot like a regular belVita biscuit. These would be perfect with peanut butter on them, or on a s’more!
This obviously isn’t all of the pumpkin spice flavored stuff available this season, but for some reason we’ve had a hard time finding anything at the grocery stores!

We went to HomeGoods looking for Halloween coffee cups, Rae Dunn mugs, and vintage inspired Halloween decorations. We unfortunately didn’t find any of that, but that just means we’ll have to go to another HomeGoods soon! We did find a lot of cute stuff, so here are the Halloween things we found at our HomeGoods!

We’ve bought a lot of awesome Halloween stuff this year so far, and we just can’t wait for the end of October to do a haul! So here are pictures of our favorite Halloween things we’ve bought so far!
We had seen some Instagram posts of all of the cool Halloween things at Hobby Lobby this year, so we were super excited and went to Hobby Lobby asap! But we were really disappointed when we went and there was NO Halloween stuff out! But the whole store was like a Christmas store! Even the crafting sections had been taken over by Christmas! And don’t get us wrong, we love Christmas! But we want to buy Halloween stuff right now.
Anyway, we had to go back a few days later for a craft project, and we found all of the Halloween things our Hobby Lobby has this year. There was half of an isle, and one stand. There were a few cute things though! Here’s what we found:
One of our favorite places to look for cheap seasonal decor is at the dollar spot at Target! (a.k.a. Bullseye’s Playground) And they did not disappoint us with the fall and Halloween collection this year! In fact, it might be the most (and best!) Halloween stuff they’ve ever had at the dollar spot!
